Purple Lipstick Look Make it Right by Makeup Revolution
In this post, I'm going to cover what I like to call my purple lipstick look. Make it Right by Makeup Revolution is the product that I'm using to create this amazing look!
Hello lovelies, how do we all feel about purple lips?
In my previous Makeup Revolution haul I showed you two pretty purples that I got, one is a lilac tone called Depraved and the other one is a dark, rich royal purple with a frosty finish.
It's called Make it Right and it's what I have on today!
I'm not a huge fan of any finish other than matte, but I really wanted a true purple lip color so I had to get Make it Right.
Besides, I can always blot it and make it matte, as I do with all my lipsticks.
So let's get to what we have here.
The Review
Packaging
Black plastic tube with a color swatch on the cap.
The Makeup Revolution lipsticks have the color of each product on it's cap, which makes finding the shade you want really easy, but I must admit it was a bit confusing for me because usually this type of package leaves the colored part on the bottom of the tube, not the cap. Useful either way.
Scent
Very light sweet fragrance.
Consistency
Creamy, easy to apply with both a brush and on its own.
Finish
Icy/ Frosty/ Satin finish.
Longevity
This lasts a good few hours if you don't eat, looking as fresh as when you first apply it.
Even after a meal it remains as a slight stain, but it's more persistent on the extremities of your lips (where the water/food doesn't rub it off), so you definitely need to reapply.

For the price this is at, I'd give it a 10/10!
Sure we'd all love a great transfer resistance and longevity in your lipsticks, but there's only so much you can do with 1 GBP. I am super glad I bought many of these for the sake of beauty and loveliness.
Oh, and you know when you are trying to get really cute pictures for your blog and you forget your camera on macro?
80% of my pictures ended up being out of focus bhahahahaha. Well, not exactly out of focus, but focusing on the cherry tree flowers.
And, btw, excuse my nasty ponytail, my roots are so obvious now and I keep my hair pinned because of it.
